Mboli Family Foundation is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable families in crisis, protecting the girl child, providing food assistance, supporting education, and empowering young people. We exist to ensure that no one in our community is left behind, regardless of their circumstances.
Sullivan Mbongwe is a social entrepreneur and youth advocate, and the founder of Mboli Family Foundation. Driven by a deep passion for helping others, he established the foundation to support vulnerable communities and empower young people—especially girls—through education, mentorship, and community programs.
Having witnessed the challenges faced by families and youth in crisis-affected regions of Cameroon, Sullivan was inspired to create a platform that provides not only support, but also hope and opportunity. His vision is to help young people overcome barriers, believe in themselves, and build brighter futures.
Through his leadership, Mboli Family Foundation continues to grow as a force for positive change—impacting lives, strengthening communities, and inspiring the next generation.
We provide practical, community-driven support through a range of programs, including
Providing food assistance through community distributions for families facing food insecurity
Offering workshops, tutoring, back-to-school support, and job-readiness training
Creating safe spaces through mentoring, support groups, and social activities that reduce isolation
Together, we can create lasting change and build a stronger, more compassionate community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Each year, Mboli Family Foundation supports over 200 individuals and families, helping them access essential services and opportunities. Behind every number is a story of resilience and hope—for example, a child who once lacked the means to attend school is now able to enroll, learn, and build a brighter future with the support of our programs.
